Why am I being matched with questions that aren't relevant to me?

Although frustrating, this does happen from time to time and usually occurs due to two reasons:

1. Student Hashtags: We match questions based on hashtags so if a learner has incorrectly tagged their question with irrelevant hashtags, it will be sent to the wrong Professionals.
2. Professional Topics: We also match questions based on the tags that you are following! If you’re looking to answer questions for specific industries, please follow those tags. General tags such as “career” or “college” tend to be a catchall for questions. You can change these in your profile settings.
